My First logo design

This was my first logo that I designed. It is for a gym that will be opening soon up north in sault ste marie soon. Daryl (the owner) had a pretty specific idea that he wanted for the design but I did get to throw some of my ideas into it.

This was the my original thought on the idea he was looking for. He liked it but was not quite what he envisioned.




This was the second idea i showed Daryl he wanted the stars to be a little more spread out so this is what I produced.




This was the final idea Daryl wanted he decided that he wanted his logo to be black and white so I removed the colour from the stars and leaves and this was the final idea that he wanted.

This was a design I did for a laptop skin.

Mohawk Art Kit Design

This was the final project our whole course was given to do. We were asked to produce a design for an art kit that future graphic design students would be purchasing for the course.

Muhammad Ali_montage

This is a painting I did for a montage my theme was Muhammad Ali and i wanted to base my theme on a quote from Ali himself the quote was " I must be the greatest, Not only do I knock'em out I pick the round ". The medium i used for this illustration was acrylic. It looks a little bit washed out because of my scanner, but i thought i'd upload it anyway.

Major_project

This is my major project that I did for one of my illustration classes. I decided to redesign a the cover of a book I read a while ago. The book was titled The Devil of Nanking written by Mo Hayder. It is a story about the massacre that happened in Nanking the former capital of China, when Japan invaded China during WWII. This was one of the most amazing books I have read and i encourage anyone who has a chance to read it should

Ride for Cancer postcard

This is a postcard for a charity bike ride to raise money for cancer. It is happening in Hamilton and Lance Armstrong will be ridding in the event so I wanted to incorporate a image of him in my design

Self Promotional postcard

This is my self promotional postcard. My inspiration for this design was the roman emperor nero, who when he was in rein tried to burn down rome. Little bit of a negative topic but I thought it was a cool idea.
